Description Berroco Modern Cotton Yarn is a beautiful, yarn comprised of 60% Pima Cotton and 40% Modal Rayon that is perfect for soft, warm weather projects, especially wearables, accessories and even baby blankets! Living in Florida, Berroco Modern Cotton (and the DK/lightweight version) have been go-to staples in my stash for years! You’ll also love the ease in being machine washable! If you’re interested, this yarn is also available as a Lightweight #3. Yarn Weight: Worsted #4 Made In: Peru Set Up: Hank that will need to be wound into a cake. You can either do by hand or with a yarn winder, or for a fee, I can wind it into a center pull ball for you (per ball). Fiber Content: 60% Pima Cotton, 40% Modal Rayon Ball Weight: 3.5 ounces / 100 grams Yardage: 209 yards / 191 meters Care Instructions: Machine washable in cold water on the delicate cycle. Roll in a towel to press the water out, and lay flat to dry remainder. The best way to preserve your handmade pieces is laying flat to dry (as well as stated on the wrapper), but I have had success machine drying tops made with this yarn inside a mesh lingerie bag on the low heat setting, and then laying flat to dry remainder.
