An attractive pocket edition of the Dickens novel, published in 1904, in very good condition. Martin Chuzzlewit was originally serialised in 1843-44 before being published as a single volume. Hardback, bound in polished red morocco with gilt borders, gilt lettering and raised bands to spine. All edges gilt. Black-and-white frontispiece illustration, with tissue guard. Published in 1904 by Thomas Nelson and Sons in London. In very good condition indeed, some rubbing to extremities of spine. Clean inside with no writing or markings.
