Seven volumes of this famous large-scale illustrated history of England, which was first published in the 1880s. This is the special Subscriber’s Edition, hardback, bound in red cloth, with gilt text block. Illustrated throughout in colour with tissue guards. Undated, but published around 1900. In good condition. Most volumes have some marks and bumps externally but all remain firmly bound and tight. Note that this is only Volumes 1-7 out of the 10-volume complete set.
