Neruda was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1971 and wrote a wide range of material, including poetry, historical epics, political documents and an autobiography. He held various diplomatic roles for the Chilean government, and was considered the country’s national poet. With an introduction and biography of Neruda in English, poems all in the original Spanish. Hardback, published in 1975 by The Dolphin Book Co in Oxford. Original unclipped jacket. In very good condition with only minor edgewear to jacket. Includes the original erratum slip. 218 pages.
