A rare signed collection of short stories by the Syrian writer and painter Fateh Moudarres (1922-1999). Moudarres was a leading figure in Syria’s modern art movement. He was born in Aleppo and studied in Rome, becoming influenced by Surrealism, before returning to Syria. His work has been exhibited extensively overseas. Softback, published in 1981 by Alarabia Printing House in Damascus. Signed by the author to the title page with an inscription. In very good condition. Minor wear and rubbing externally, but no major creases or folds. Contents bright.
