Jane Austen – Complete Works
A superb complete set of Austen’s six novels, in five illustrated volumes, published by Macmillan between 1906 and 1910. These are the editions illustrated by Charles Brock and Hugh Thomson, featuring more than 200 line drawings in total. Comprises Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, and Mansfield Park as single volumes, plus Persuasion and Northanger Abbey as a combined volume. All first appeared between 1811 and 1817, with Mansfield Park and Persuasion released posthumously. Hardback, bound in half green morocco by Riviere and Sons in London, with green cloth boards. Five raised bands to the spine, with gilt ruled compartments and gilt lettering, showing the date to the bottom. Top edges gilt and marbled endpapers. In very good condition. All volumes are clean with no writing inside. Bindings tight and square. Minor rubbing and fading to spines.
